Our area has three business parks that are less than one mile from Interstate 74, with parcels of up to 550 acres. One of our parks is certified Shovel Ready by the State of Indiana, which means it’s ready for immediate development, with expedited permitting.

Decatur County Rail Park

Decatur County Rail Park is a 161-acre facility that’s also served by the Central Railroad of Indiana, with connections to CSX, Norfolk Southern, and CN.

Adams Rail Park

Adams Rail Park is a certified Shovel Ready site with 73 acres of developable land that’s zoned for commercial and industrial uses. The park’s infrastructure is already in place, and it is served by the Central Railroad of Indiana (a Genesee & Wyoming line) that provides direct connections to CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern, and Canadian National mainlines.

Business Enterprise Park

Business Enterprise Park, newly SITE CERTIFIED GOLD, is across Interstate 74 from Honda Manufacturing of Indiana’s plant. This 550-acre park, with commercial and industrial zoning, is ready for development.

A Solid Infrastructure

Meeting the energy and infrastructure needs of new businesses is no challenge for Greensburg Decatur County, Indiana. Our utility providers and municipal systems have created an infrastructure with extensive headroom for growing businesses. An excellent example is Honda Manufacturing of Indiana’s 2,300-employee assembly plant, which has operated continuously with no utility limitations at all.

Local electric power utilities can provide the reliability of redundant power networks, and companies such as call centers that depend upon consistent data links will appreciate the breadth of our area’s fiber backbone. We also have access to abundant supplies of natural gas and fresh water, with sewer systems that are large enough to accommodate major processing operations.
