The fact that Greensburg Decatur County, Indiana is situated right between Indianapolis, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio on Interstate 74 makes us attractive to companies in the logistics and distribution industry. Two of our business parks are served by the Central Railroad of Indiana (a Genesee & Wyoming line), with connections to CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern, and Canadian National mainlines. Our local education community understands the importance of providing the skills today and tomorrow’s employers need. Local high schools offer more than 50 dual-credit opportunities, with Project Lead the Way’s engineering-focused curriculum available at local junior and senior high schools. This year, Greensburg Community High School opens a 10,000-square-foot Vocational Education Manufacturing Lab to teach skills in CNC machining, welding, and CAD-based engineering and design.

Greensburg Decatur County, Indiana understands the food industry, largely because we are surrounded by millions of acres of cropland. We’re in the heart of an agricultural region whose annual inputs include more than 80 million bushels of corn and 28 million bushels of soybeans, as well as an inventory of more than 320,000 head of hogs, 15,000 head of beef cattle, and 6,900 dairy cattle.
